There are many, many web sites that discuss biofeedback and neurotherapy research and the conditions being addressed through this treatment modality. The EEG Info site gives a good balanced view of the current research. However, the main organizations that are involved in neurofeedback and biofeedback are the Association of Applied Psychophysiology (AAPB) and Biofeedback and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR). Both of these sites give a fair and up to date 'sense' of what is possible with neuro- and bio-feedback tools and techniques. The organization that regulates biofeedback and neurofeedback treatment is the Biofeedback Certification Institue of America or BCIA, for short. I am a member of the ISNR, AAPB and certified with the BCIA as an Associate Fellow. I've listed some of the common problems treated with biofeedback adn neurofeedback below, with links to web sites attached. If you have any questions, call (604)999 5809. Below are some of the problems neurofeedback can be used to treat.
In some cases I use neurofeedback and psychotherapy because the combination of these methods seems the most efficient way to treat the problem.
